Binna Burra Memorial Museum
Brief: This museum hopes to memorialise and pay tribute to the Binna Burra Lodge & Greater National Park.
From 1930 Binna Burra was developed from a point of collective passion for nature. Nearly 100 years of growth and heritage resulted in a tight-knit community revolving around the lodge. In 2019, fires spread throughout the national park and devastated all heritage listed buildings but one, creating chaos for all members of the community.
Through collective strength and generosity both in the area and internationally, the community of Binna Burra remained stronger than ever throughout and after the ruin, allowing for slow but steady recovery
