Southport Community Centre

Located near a busy intersection and adjacent to Smith Street in Southport, this community centre attempts to revitalise and reclaim a small amount of greenery into the heart of Southport, as well as absorbing some of the nearby noise pollution and carbon emissions.

This design likens community to a bustling forest, with many unique entities creating a united group – and tries to emulate some of the forests features. This retains Southport’s natural ecology and attempts to invite people and wildlife back in with its open and green concept.
